By: Zach Kirk
The Vikings dominated the George Rogers Clark Invitational on Saturday. The boys placed first with score of 47 points. Leading the way for the Vikings was Zach Hatfield with a breakout race placing second overall. Megan Bush for the girls also placed second. The girls team placed second only losing by 1 point to a tough Jonathan Alder team. Both teams faced adversity and came out successful. Junior Tucker Branson’s input on the race was, “ I was happy with how I did. This race was very eye opening and the team has a lot to work on after Saturday's results but once we figure things out we’ll show that we belong at the top, not underdogs any more.” The boys and girls are 4 weeks from the MSL Championship.
