Club Feature: FOR

This weeks feature for clubs is FOR club. Friends of Rachel (FOR), is a club to welcome new people and spread positivity to Teays Valley high school. Six years ago a student from TVHS by the name of Emily Kaufeld brought “Rachel’s Challenge” to our school for her senior project. The club came out of that presentation and it has been established ever since.

So far, they have over 50 members at TVHS and any student interested is welcome to join! The goal of FOR club is to improve school climate, to make students and staff feel welcome and safe, and to create an atmosphere of kindness and respect at TVHS. Their specific goal for this year is to grow and promote their club, get more underclassmen involved, and participate in more community service in and out of school.
